The Regulator for Social Housing has today (15 November 2022) published the latest grades for governance and financial viability.

Together Housing has maintained the highest level for governance – G1 – which confirms that our approach is meeting the rigorous standards set by the Regulator for Social Housing.
In common with many other housing providers, the Regulator has moved our financial viability rating to V2. This is sector wide issue and relates to the high levels of inflation, future uncertainly regarding rent levels and rent turbulence in the debt markets.

Together Housing’s Chief Executive Kevin Ruth commented:

“We are delighted to maintain our G1 rating for governance which confirms that Together Housing continues the highest governance standards. The Regulator’s decision to move our viability rating to V2 reflects wider changes in the social housing sector. The judgement confirmed that Together Housing has an adequately funded business plan with sufficient security in place”.
