Our Beech Hill development in Halifax has been shortlisted in the Best Partnership (Rest of the UK) category in the Inside Housing Development Awards. The development includes a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, which will be available for affordable rent. The project will also include a cycle route, landscaping, public open space, parking facilities and infrastructure works.
The £15.5m development is part of the Calderdale Together Housing Investment Partnership. This partnership between Together Housing and Calderdale Council was established to jointly deliver up to 650 affordable homes across Calderdale over five years from 2018-23.
The scheme, due to be completed in November 2022, is being delivered by Esh Construction. Funding has come from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and Homes England.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 4 November.
